Reg. 1

The 38. FIM Rendez-Vous Meritum is organised by ÖAMTC / FIM-Rallye Team Austria. On behalf of the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) and the Touring and Leisure Commission (CTL), the event will be held from 17th to 19th of June 2020 according to the FIM Code for Touristic Gatherings (hereafter known as CTG) – FIM Rendez-Vous
Meritum section; to the rules of the FIM, to these Supplementary Regulations (SR) and to the FIM Environmental Code.

Reg. 2 Participation in the FIM Rendez-Vous Meritum

Reg. 3 Entries

Reg. 3.1

Individual entries will be made on the form made available for this purpose on the Internet Site of the event. Participants have to submit their entries directly to the Organiser (see address in Reg. 1.1 Organisation)

Reg. 4 Entry Fee

The entry fee is fixed by the organiser: 199 Euros (€) (See Art. 4 of Category 1.3 “FIM Rendez-Vous Meritum” of the CTG).
Children between the ages of 8 and 12 will pay 50% of the adult entrance fee.
Children under the age of 8 will be admitted free of charge.

The entry fee and the fee for the optional excursions will be paid in full (100%) by the participants before 15.03.2020 extended until 25.04.2020 to the following account:

All payments will be made in Euros (€). The transfer costs are to be paid by the expeditor.

The organiser is not obligated to accept entries after the closing date for entries nor the entries made at the venue of the meeting.

If the organiser should accept entries after the closing date for entries, a surcharge of up to 25% to the entry fee may be imposed. Vacancy check prior to sending late entries is advised.

Reg. 5 Closing date for entries

The deadline for the entries and the booking of the accommodation is 15.03.2020 extended until 25.04.2020.
The number of participants is limited to 150 persons.

Reg. 6 Gifts, souvenirs and services for the participants

Every participant who has paid the registration fee will receives:

  • Participation in the FIM Rendez-Vous Meritum
  • 3 evening meals
  • 2 lunches
  • Souvenir medal or pin

Reg. 7 Accommodation

  • 100% of campsite booking fee will be paid with the registration.
  • 100% of the hotel booking fee will be paid with the registration.

The hotel or camping bookings will be made on the “accommodation” booking form. The amounts due for the accommodation will be paid at the same time as the registration fee, i.e. before 15.03.2020 extended until 25.04.2020 to the bank account quoted in Reg. 4 Entry Fee.

All payments will be made in Euros (€). The transfer costs are to be paid by the expeditor.

Reg. 8 Administrative Centre

The Administrative Centre will be open on

  • 15th June 2020 from 13.00 to 18.00
  • 16th June to 19th June 2020 from 09.00 to 19.00
  • 20th June 2020 from 09.00 to 12.00

Reg. 9 Results and Classification

The FIM Rendez-Vous Meritum meeting is an international meeting of friendly character, which is reserved for a particular group of participants, so there is no classification.

Reg. 10 Cancellation of event

In accordance with the CTG the Organiser can cancel the event:

  • if, at the closing date, the number of entries is below 100
  • in the case of absolute necessity.

In the case of cancellation of the meeting, the participants who transmitted their entry forms before the closing entry date will be notified.

Reg. 11 General

Comments at the discretion of the Organiser.

Cancellation of registration:

  • in case of cancellation of registration, the participant shall transmit it to the Organiser
  • until 30th April 2020 100% of the registration fee will be refunded.
  • between 1st May 2020 and 15th May 2020 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.
  • after 15th May 2020 no refund is possible

Reg. 12 Liability of the Authorities, Organisers and Participants

Reg. 13 Protection of the Environment

Motorcyclists are expected to consider other road users (See Art. 5.1 of the CTG and Art. 11.2 of Environmental Code).

“We must voluntarily add a greater degree of responsibility to our natural desire for individual mobility. We should try to achieve results on the basis of freedom of thought and movement, and exploit every opportunity to combine the pleasure of motorcycling more effectively with ecological and economic needs.”

a) Individual motorcyclists should develop riding habits to ensure full integration with other types of road users.
b) Ride safely and avoid aggressive and competitive riding.
c) Save petrol and reduce pollution by avoiding unnecessary idling of engines.
d) Ride politely and limit noise pollution by using your horn only in an emergency.
e) Noise annoyance. Use a standard or another quiet exhaust system and keep audio systems at a low level.
f) Use only routes which are open to motorcyclists.
g) Ride like a professional by riding at a quiet and unobtrusive pace when riding in groups.
h) Respect nature by not travelling on paths which risk being damaged beyond a point of natural recovery.
i) Protect wildlife and its natural habitat by riding intelligently.
j) Ensure that your used oil, tyres, batteries and other recyclable items are properly recycled.
k) Encourage a rational use of fuel and space economy by using motorcycles instead of driving automobiles.
l) Remember that our cities and our roads are not circuits.
